Is it advice able to a train to Khyber pass from Rawalpindi to see Khyber pass?

how far is Khyber pass from the railway station?

The train safari has been stopped right after 9/11 2001 although that was operated from Peshawar not from Rawalpindi.

Its no more possible to visit Khyber pass (for foreigners) even by bus or car since 2009 so no chance either way.

It used to take 1/30 (one way) hrs by bus/car & 3 hours (one way ) by train

It is not possible any more. The railway track has also been washed away by floods. More over Govt has stopped issuing permits to foreigners for visiting Khyber Pass over security concerns.
