I want to go Muzaffarabad during my visit to Pakistan, how long it will take to go there, what is the right time to go there?

Its a bit cold from the beginning of December to end of February otherwise its always right time to visit the mentioned city.

Its about 5 hours drive from Islamabad/Rawalpindi to Muzaffarabad.

Foreigners require an NOC to visit AJK, they are extremely strict about enforcing this. When I tried to enter without one earlier this year I was detained for 2hrs and questioned by security police. You can apply for one in Islamabad, but it will take at least 2 weeks, up to 4 weeks !
