Hello,

I will be traveling the Karakoram Highway into Pakistan in about a week.

I would like to know if any foreign travelers have any recent experiences making this trip.

(1) Did you experience or see anything that would pose safety concerns?

(2) How was the weather? Was it hot or cold?

(3) Was it easy to find accommodations in Sost and Gilgit?

(4) Was it easy to obtain bus transportation from city to city along the highway?

Thanks for your help!

KKH is quite safe.
Weather is hot specially downwards from Chilas to Islamabad.

Public transport is frequently available from from village to village & city ti city.

Plenty of hotel accommodation along the KKH (Sost to Gilgit).
