That's why I suggested you to skip the festival days.
You could document their daily life, they are friendly people but you'd not be allowed to enter "Bashali" (women segregation house), when they leave the village and stay there during the cycle, when they are close to give birth to a baby.

June is not a very busy month for Kalash families, if your documentary is not only confined to rituals, then you could shoot the women working in fields, men with their goats/sheep towards high pastures, making cheese.
Most of the men from the valleys graze their livestock in the pastures, women are responsible for domestic chores, working in the fields, cooking, bringing up the kids.
During festivals, you could shoot the rituals, performed at Mahandev and Jastakhan (holy places), by the Kalash Qazis and families, along with the colorful dance of Kalash girls/women.

Ohh, thanks for your precious news. My documentary has to be rich of daily life but I will have a little time (one week only at their village). In your opinion what is the best months to reach that people? I inform you: I cannot meet tourists to make a good documentary. Thanks

Flower collection when the young girls go to the nearby pasture to collect and bring flowers, to decorate their houses, the Jastakhans (holy places).
2nd day is called "Chirakpipi" when the young girls and boys with the beat of drums, in groups go to cattle-sheds in the village, while singing songs, they are offered milk and yogurt .
Young boys slaughter baby goats and purification ceremonies are performed by their elders.

I like to understand fine please. Is "Chirakpipi" on the second day of the festival? If it is so, I can be there for 3 days during the festival and for 4-5 after the festival even if I don't like Festival because there are many tourists.

The festival days are the busiest ones, too many tourists in the area, so please keep that in mind.

I still don't understand you. Sorry! You have just told me about "Chirakpipi" and Jastakhans (holy places) as interesting and important events, then you tell me it is better I don't go in these days because the festival days are the busiest ones. For this reason I have told you I will be for the festival date and for 4-5 days after the festival. But I can choose also another date, I have not problems, but in your opinion what is the best date to go there and to take a good documentary with their daily life?
