Pakistan is full of contrasts. It is quite possibly the most naturally beautiful place in the world. At the same time, in places, the abject poverty is worse. This poverty coexists in many places with over the top opulence on the estates of the ultra rich.
Anyplace where there is such disparity in wealth and standards of living you are going to find problems. Having said that, I think by nature that the overwhelming majority of Pakistani people are warm, friendly, proud of their homeland and want visitors to have a wonderful time there. Just use common sense. however I did have ideas of people staring and brushing up against you but all the time I was on my own nobody had any interest in me unless I wanted to make conversation or take a photo..... and it is always better to hire a car/driver specially if you are traveling alone as the driver can act as a companion and a guide and will keep you safe and away from dangers.
Plus, everyone should go to Paksitan at least once in their life. It's a must see destination.
