Nepal

Ama Dablam Adventures are Nepali and apparantly offer camping treks that are similar to the established Australian operators I am familiar with like Peregrine and World Expeditions (similar in quality but cheaper in price).

I'm looking at their Annapurna Dhaulagiri trek.

Has anyone used them?? Reliable?? Recommended?? Or not??

I'm looking to visit Everest Base Camp in late June/early July but I'm having some trouble finding reliable information about the weather conditions around that time.

Can anyone give me a general idea of daytime and evening highs/lows? Also how rainy will it be?

I was wondering if anyone had taken a bus from Kathmandu via the Biraganj - Raxaul crossing into India. If so, how easy is it to find the bus in Kathmandu and what is the journey/crossing like?

I am an acupuncturist / Oriental Med. practitioner here in the US. I was planning to go to Kathmandu to treat Tibetan refugees at Schechen hospital, but they are no longer running the acupuncture department, as they cannot keep it staffed year round, which creates gaps in treatment. Since I have the time blocked out in October, I am wondering if anyone knows of a place where I could be of service. Other Tibetan communities needing volunteers? Any other type of clinic / hospital?
