Good morning ,I was informed by agency that Sep 27 flight from Hongkong to Nepal KTM by Royal Nepal Aireline was cancelled due to arieplane checking and also from news report one flight form KTM to HK was called back after departuring from KTM due to something wrong with aireplane,can anybody help me understand what happen to Royal Nepal Airline airplane,thanks in advance.

I am looking reach Nepal via Tibet in November and would like to stay for a month.

Hopefully I will be able to do one of the treks as well as visit Kathmandu, Pokhara and the Chitwan National park.

I have read that the Government elections will be occuring in November and that there had been a recent bombing in Kathmandu.
Can anyone shed some light on the possible dangers of travelling at this time?
Do you think it would be wise to postpone and go later?

I need your advice on 12 days holiday in Nepal in October. We'd like to make some trek (thinkin' about ABC) and maybe try the rafting a little bit. Could you suggest any other 8-9 days treks, please? How to connect it with rafting or a Chitwan NP trip?

I will be visiting the Kathmandu Valley this fall and plan to search out local arts and crafts. I will not be purchasing any antiques, however, from past experience, I know I will be purchasing items that I will be packing in my checked luggage. I normally wrap these items in bubble wrap to cushion them and tape them. I have heard that customs will open everything that is wrapped and inspect it before one leaves the Kathmandu Airport.

Is this actually the case? If it is, what is the best way…

Hi, Just wondering if anybody can advice if we should be taking our warm jackets for the 2 treks, A.B.C and Everest View Trek that we will be doing in 2 weeks. Would prefer not to due to bulkyness, but need advice if we will need them. Can anybody advise what the weather / tempertures may be for these 2 treks. Thanking you !!

Is it normal that agent ask you to pay whole amount by cash before tour starts?

My wife and I will be in Nepal in November and are planning to do a couple of treks in the Poon Hill and Thyangboche areas. We would like some advise on what to do about drinking water. Is is better to get water from a natural source and treat it yourself or is it better to buy bottled water from the tea houses? We are keen to inject money into the local community but are concerned about what happens to the plastic bottles? Are there any recycling programmes in Nepal or are we just going to…
