Hi all,

I'll be in Nepal, for the first time, in early June and am hoping to do a short trek. I'm talking 5 or 6 days. I know that June is considered the start of monsoon season, but as best I can tell, it's really more toward the end of June that the rainfall becomes problematic. That being said, because I haven't decided where in Nepal I'm going trekking, is one part of Nepal better than the others to go trekking during that time of year? My question is strictly about the weather.

And to be exact, I'm thinking the trekking part of my trip will be from June 6-12.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Lower Mustang (Marpha, Kagbeni, Muktinath ...) has a drier climate.
