I'm tavelling to Nepal for the first time this July and wanted to do a nice trek there. After some preliminary research I kind of set my heart of the Manaslu trek but upon looking into it further it see it will be the monsoon season so now I'm worried. I can't find any information that says you physically can't do it during this time but I'm looking for some advice on just how unasvisable it would be to do so, in terms of safety risks and overall experience. I can handle a bit of rain rain but if it's literally gonna be non-stop bad weather every day then maybe I'd be better spending my time/money elsewhere...

People live there year around, thus also move around, so the only question mark is the snow conditions at Larkya La pass during the monsoon time. Monsoon means a lot of rain = lot of snow at high altitudes. I can not give a definitive answer about that, you have to ask about it from Nepalese agencies who (should) know. If the pass is unreliable, consider going to Tsum Valley and back for a genuine Tibetan flavour trek without a high pass to cross.
