Hello,

Has anybody done this? Kakerbhitta to Kathmandu by road. I want to know the current situation. Heard there are some Mao groups operating throughout the route.

- How good or bad the road condition?
- How much time it takes to reach Kathmandu (Bus or a shared ride)?
- What is the fare?
- Is there a good place midway to cut the journey?

hi,
- the road is good
- normally 14 hours
- fare is 800 nr
- Chitwan or janakpur are good places (although u have to change the bus)
