I'm living in China at the moment on a 'Z' visa (I'm Australian) and traveling to Tibet and Nepal in September - October. I have a couple of questions... Firstly can anyone tell me the cost of the flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa, and the cost of a flight package with the Tibet Permit? Secondly I will travel to Kathmandu from Tibet and then back again and on to Beijing and I have a 'Z' visa. What will happen in Kathmandu? Will I have to get a tourist visa, and will they try to cancel my 'Z' visa? How long is the wait and how much for a Chinese visa in Kathmandu?
Maybe some further queries will follow.
