namaste all,
im headin to nepal bymyself in nov this year, ive booked my trip for 3weeks, iv organised a 7day tour for when i arrive and will then book other tours when i get back from that one. My issue is is that im wondering whether 3weeks is enough to really see all of nepal. I want to leave with a feeling that ive seen all there is to see. i dont plan to do any long treks on this trip, maybe just up to poon hill. id like to do a fair bit of shopping while im there and see all the cultural sites and monuments. i want my holiday to be fairly relaxed not rushing around trying to fit everything into my 3weeks. my dilema is that my work will only allow me three weeks holiday if i go for longer i will probably have to say goodbye to a job i love, but id rather enjoy my holiday and not come home wishing i had spent more time there so i could see everything. i understand this may be difficult to answer as my itenary isnt completly clear, but anyone who has travelled to nepal for 3weeks may be able to give me some advice on whether they thought it was long enough, any replies will be much appreciated and thankyou in advance. peace always ladycottington

hi there
it is enough for u to travel to nepal for three weeks. in three weeks you can see almost every thing. you will not feel like u have not seen some thing during those 3 weeks. you can find some information here too www.friendinnepal.com<BR>should u have any inquaries about nepal feel free go write to me. email meinfo about nepal

If you want to see „everything“ - 3 weeks wont be enough. However, 3 weeks will give you a good introduction to Nepal and if you like it you could visit again next year and visit the places you haven't seen the first time.
If you have booked a tour you will probably see a lot more of Nepal in 3 weeks than if you'd travel at your own pace, but expect to spend only a short time in each place you visit. A tour is good if you want to see a lot in a short space of time. The trouble with a tour is that if you really like a place you wont be able to stay longer. Being on a strict itinerary you may have to leave after a few hours or the next day.
