I’ve booked my next trip to India for August - I absolutely love it.
I’ve previously been to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Masoorie, Mumbai and Dehradun.
I’m conscious it will be monsoon in some parts of India during my stay so I’ll hopefully leave these places for my next trip.
At this stage I’m looking for ideas or inspiration - grateful for any suggestions.
My initial thoughts are to stay in the Northern half of India (and maybe Andaman Islands) - I am sure there is enough to do.

I travelled to India in 2008. I had finished my undergrad and spent 5 months there. I have this fantasy of when I go back, meeting the ageing hippies and hardcore travelers. I’m kind of old- school. I'm planning to take the Tejas Epress train from Karmali, Goa, back to Mumbai,
and I am having trouble finding online booking for tickets for that specific train.
I am not sure if I'll be able to buy tickets at a travel agent etc or at a rain station once I get to Goa,
I'll be in Mandrem for nine days before I have to get on a train,
really appreciate any help and also any shared experiences you have taking the Tejas route!
