I have a US (Cingular) Motorola Razr phone and I am traveling to India.
Will it work in India? If no, what are my options?
If yes, can I get a SIM card at Delhi or Mumbai airports? If so, how?
What's the best service provider -- I will be in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Is Airtel preferred?

some friends and I are going to travel to India in July. We are flying into Mumbai. Planning to spend some time there, Goa, Rajasthan, Punjab, Agra. Do you think it's going to be way toooo hot? Will we manage? Will the rain be non-stop or is that too difficult to predict. I have read and it seems like it'll rain but will not be all day. Is this accurate? Advice would be appreciated. I've travelled around Thailand in the summer...will it be WAY hotter than that?

Hi, Does anyone know about the Rochela Trek near Kalimpong? Is it open to Independent Trekkers or do you need to go through a travel agent. Are the autorickshaws like the tuk tuks in other countries, and can carry two people ?

I am a Canadian going to Kathmandu flying through Delhi (12 hours in airport) and I am not leaving the airport. Do I need a visa? The consulate here has been telling different people different things, some yes, some no. And if I need a transfer visa, can I get it at the airport?

I've checked the FAQ link and gone on seat61, indiamike etc and I'm still confused about what everyone else does when buying train tickets for India from abroad.

I'm registered on the irctc website.

The problem that i've got is with the delivery of the tickets. If I'm buying them from the UK before I travel, what should i do?

Can i print off the ticket details and pick them up at Delhi station?
