we have got the last week of August and the first half of September for vacation and plan to spend this time in Kerala, but we are pretty unsure how good or bad the weather may be. I am aware that this is still monsoon time and there is a lot of rain - my question is whether those heavy rains are mostly in the afternoons only (something we could live with) or whether there is a good chance that you have got several rainy days in a row where you can actually do nothing at all outside ?

i was advised by an aussie dr to buy the bulk of malarone i would need for a 6 month trip in india when i arrive. so far i havent found anywhere that sells it in goa and karnataka. im trying the street pharmacies.. does anyone know where i can buy malarone or how i can get it here? to order online from oz i apaprently need a drs certificate!
