Is there a tour boat I can take as a solo traveler from Alleppey to get to Kochi? I'll be in Southern Kerala and want to spend a few days in Kochi. I'm not super excited about spending time on a houseboat, but wouldn't mind traveling by boat as a scenic way to get from Point A to Point B. I don't really want to rent a whole boat for myself.

If not, I think I might skip Alleppey. In which case I'd probably try to get to Kochi from Trivandrum.

Hi,

I'm a UK citizen wanting to travel to India in October. Ideally, i'd like a 6-month, or ultimately, a one-year tourist visa, but according to the website it's at the discretion of the Indian authorities at the time of application which length of stay they give me. This could mean that I get either a 3-month, 6-month, or a 1-year tourist visa. A 3-month visa wouldn't give me the time I want!

Has anybody had any issues regarding this? Are the authorities usually accommodating with the length…

Hello,

My boyfriend and I have booked a last minute trip to India, leaving in a few days. We will be there for 1 month and are flying in/out from Delhi. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations, particularly on a Northern route. Do accommodations/transportation need to be booked in advance?
A bit about us: We love nature. On a budget. We would rather enjoy less places than run around trying to see everything.
Thanks a bunch.

I have been shortlisting yoga schools in Rishikesh for my 200 hours TT for quite some time now and have finalized Yogpeeth, Ekattva Yogshala, and Vashwashantiyoga. All three have good reviews and offer what I'm interested in. I found Yogpeeth and Vashwa on Google but was recommended Ekattva by a friend who has completed 200 hours YTT from there. I checked the course, pricing, and other details for Ekattva and everything seems great. Yogapeeth seems great but it has a bigger fee just like Vashwa…

Hi everyone! :)

I'm a solo female traveller from Ireland coming to New Delhi for a friend's wedding from 04 Mar to 17 Mar, so will be totally free to sightsee from 10 Mar onwards. I will probably visit Delhi and Agra, and am looking for suggestions on your favourite sights to visit.

I'm a bit nervous travelling on my own if I'm honest, especially to India, and this is my first solo trip so I'll most likely stick to tourist locations but if there are any must see spots that are a bit less…

Hi all. I'm hoping to do a Goechela trek in April 2018. Can anyone recommend a trekking agency to go through? Is it better to book online or are there agencies I can visit in person? Kolkata, Darjeeling, Gangtok? Many thanks for any advice.

Hello,
It sounds like a poor time to travel in the south, with heavy rain in Kerala and either lots of rain or torrid heat in Tamil Nadu.
I've traveled in the north, so it's either the south or somewhere totally different.
Is the south worth the slog at this time of the year?

Thanks
