Not officially open yet , but the first veggies since December have reached Leh from Srinagar. BRO talks of the road fully open this week. No real progress on the Manali-Leh road yet.
And yes , if anyone hasnt noticed : Kashmir is a sad mess at the moment.

I am going to India in May and doing the golden triangle. I am only there for a week and then heading to Bangkok. My family and friends are quite worried as I am travelling alone, should I be so worried as I am feeling quite ok now? I've recently got back from Nepal where I did a trek in Langtang region and climbed a local peak known as Tsergo Ri (5033 meters). Im planning for a trip to India and I was wondering if there are any treks that can be done individually without the need of a guide in Manali.
