Not officially open yet , but the first veggies since December have reached Leh from Srinagar. BRO talks of the road fully open this week. No real progress on the Manali-Leh road yet.

And yes , if anyone hasnt noticed : Kashmir is a sad mess at the moment.

Updates on my blog below .

Hi there, I know malaria topics have been done a lot but I haven't been about to find a recent thread with my specific question

I'm spending two months in India, between Bangalore and Hyderabad, on a business trip. 4 and 5 star city hotels only. Spending most days in an office, out and about on weekends.

I've been here 3 weeks, taking malarone, and having significant side effects which are affecting my ability to work during the day, namely severe insomnia and constant vivid dreams and night…

Hi
I am going to India in May and doing the golden triangle. I am only there for a week and then heading to Bangkok. My family and friends are quite worried as I am travelling alone, should I be so worried as I am feeling quite ok now? Also, does anyone have any recommendations for hostels in Agra and Jaipur and whether I should book them in advance?
Thanks

Hi, Iam thinking of going to Rishikesh in April to find a yoga retreat and to escape the high temperatures in rajisthan. Will Rishikesh also be experiencing unbearable temperatures? Should I try and go further north?

Many moons ago, enough to fill twenty years, I made my last trip to India, after which children, work and things intruded. I'm now planning my return, at last.

Having been before, many things are (relatively) simple; I know the places I want to revisit, have an excessive list of new places to be trimmed from the vague wishlist, have confidence about getting about, and supporting my companion who's first India trip this will be.

However, things have changed, this I know. My principal query is…

Goa

Hi. Coming to Goa at the beginning of June. I know it's unseason but we are finishing a visit to family with some time alone. We're 2 adults and 2 children. Looking for recommendations for somewhere to stay where restaurants will be open and hotel recommendations also. No idea where to start! Thanks.

Hey guys,
I've recently got back from Nepal where I did a trek in Langtang region and climbed a local peak known as Tsergo Ri (5033 meters). Im planning for a trip to India and I was wondering if there are any treks that can be done individually without the need of a guide in Manali. Please do share if you have any trekking experience in that region.
Cheers! :)
