Don't go looking for it in Algeria.

Learn all about the island of Awaji, the largest island in Japan's Inland Sea. You can contact me through that website, if you wish.

Sure...... The Taj is a place that is one of those 'must sees" in life if you happen to to come to India... i don't need to see it again though... Some think its amazing, some think its a waste and overrated...Being polite, I think there are much greater objects of tourism in India but I understand that people want to see it... .. I am glad i went before the prices got stupid, the timing issues became silly , and when they used to have free entrance days on a certain days of the week...

You just need to decide sunrise or sunset......

You would move your thread to India forum, here it is Algeria

We travel because we need to. Because the distance and difference are the secret tonics to the creativity. When we get home, home is still the same, but something in our minds has changed, and that changes everything.

Suggestions for?

Anyways, if you can, spend more time in Agra than just for the Taj Mahal. Lots more worth seeing around.

I have been to India many times and seen the Taj on around half a dozen different occasions (when travelling with various friends). I have visited at sunrise, mid morning, afternoon and late afternoon. For photos, the best were probably mid morning - but for atmosphere I liked the late afternoon when we were virtually the last people allowed to enter. It was also much quieter. I think sunrise is not all it is cracked up to be, partly because it is often foggy/misty and it is also very busy - though if you are travelling from April to September you are probably best going early morning to avoid the heat. As another poster has said - there are many other things in India to see that are as memorable or possibly more so than the Taj in my opinion.
