road to nagpur

hi all

i am at a loss. i am flying to istanbul from nagpur in roughly two weeks.
i am in kolkata at present and i am absolutly unsure of how to proceed.
thought of heading to varanasi and then go down south from there.
the other option i thought of would be puri to see the bay of bengal
for a last time and go for a swim.
but then - i have been to both places before and maybe some of
you have some suggestions on some other places to travel to before
making it to the airport? nagpur is right in the middle of india so obviously
there is quite a lot of choice. i don't want to detour too much though.
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
