If you post a question in New Delhi or Rajasthan forum, you will come to know many tour operators having good reviews. This will you will be able to get good service at reasonable cost.

When you arrive, you can try going to a taxi stop and bargaining with the drivers there. We sometimes got a rate a little below what is quoted by the Namaste India Tours link lifesupport gave. Be prepared to bargain hard and ask several drivers. You can also ask any taxi driver you may use during your time in Delhi for a quote, assuming that is where you will start. Most city taxi drivers are not licensed to drive outside of the city. However, they often know someone, possibly a family member, that can. We often got a good rate that way. The longer your tour, the better rate you will get.
