I will try this again as on my last post I didn't really get the answer to my question!
The question being, is anybody interested in going to Nagaland... We only need one more person now.. I am in Delhi at the moment, but if I don't get an answer to my question in 2 or 3 days I will be gone.... Because if you are interested, I need to have a copy of the first page of your passport and the indian visa page and two passport photo's, also you will have to fill out a form, which I have... I want to go to Nagaland house in the next few days if I can find one more person... We want to enter Nagaland around the 10th of march and stay for a week or so... You will have to travel with us for the week that we are in Nagaland, do the same route and everything... After that you are free to do what you want...
Also a word of warning, Nagaland and the north eastern states as a whole are known for there political unrest... There are frequent bombings on the trains and on markets.. In Nagaland there is an insurgency going on, but most likely you won't notice much of that exept for the army and police checkpoints... The thing is, if you want to come you should know what you are getting into, only seriously interested need reply!!
And please this time, don't reply to this message with your personel experiences in the northeastern states or warnings or anything else, all I want to know if there is anybody interested in going on the dates shown and if that person is in Delhi now or will be able to reach Delhi in the next few days so I can sort out the permit! So just answer the question!

Train's supposed to take 24 hrs. so I'm not sure when I can reply again.
I think you can get permits in Guwahati too, but I don't know if it is as easy as I know it is to get it here in Delhi... I will be leaving Delhi myself tomorrow... I had already given up hope of finding anyone else interested which meant I could take more time in getting to the north east... I was on a schedule because one of my friends is already in Assam, he left me with everything I would need to get a permit for him, but it is for him that we need to be in Nagaland on the 10th... Since I am not sure anymore about getting that permit, I was planning to take my time now in getting there and just do the other north eastern states... You put me in a bit of a predicament now... Either rush to Guwahati and hope we can get a permit there, because we will be with 4, but not knowing the chances of getting one there... Or just to give up on it and take my time in getting there... I will let you know later on, I will have to contact the other people involved to see what they think...
