The worst time to travel in India and Pakistan is not a monsoon time but summer heat. Summertime is considered in India as May and June though already in April it is very hot. Monsoon time is a relief since temperatures will drop considerably. Monsoon time starts in the beginning of June in the south and NE and move to NW in approximately a month. It starts receeding in the opposite direction in the beginning of September.

Forget the worst moths, The best months are November to March.
