Hi, I'm traveling alone and planning to go to Ladakh at the end of April for 4 nights by flight and thinking to go to Pangong lake and stay there for 1 night.

Do you have any tips about how to go to Pangong lake from Ladakh(I cannot ride a motorbike) and any recommend place to stay(I heard that there're a few places that provide you a tent or bring your own)? Also is there any shared taxi for sightseeing in Ladakh?

The tent camps at Pangong Tso are closed right now , and maybe will open when you arrive. Homestays at Spangmik.Last winter was extremely dry , this so far the opposite. Srinagar-Leh ... my guess it won’t open in April , but no one really knows. Updates on my blog. Buses once a week for Spangmik, so that obviously won’t help you . Some of the agents along Changspa Lane should be in business late April , offering packages.

Four nights is outside guidelines to include a safe & comfortable night at the Tsos , and Ladakh is worth a lot more time.

Too many. Taxi stand near the old. post office at the start of the bazar street , taxis for Nubra ( don’t forget the permit ) at the east end of the polo ground. Main sites along the Indus easily covered : take the morning bus out , and walk down to the road and see who ( bus or shared cab ) will pick you up first on the return leg.

I stayed in a village called Merak along the shore of Pangong. It is around 10-20 kilometres ahead of Spangmik (the main tourist village with tents). If you can reach Merak, you will get accommodation at villagers' homes.
