Due to arrive Khozikode mid Sept 2018 - mid Oct 2018 (5 weeks)
Kerala currently experiencing worst Monsoonal flooding in 30 years.
Affected areas, include the areas between Khozikode, Kabini River, Wayanad, etc. This is where I will be travelling (via road) Infrastructure & roads severely damaged and from reports, unlikely to be re-instated for some weeks and months. Any members can give me accurate feedback on what is occurring as I may need to cancel trip.

Thank you Mikayao. Usually, it would be fine to travel during this time of late in monsoon season, but not sure if you are aware that Kerala is on red alert with worst monsoon flooding in 30 years, affecting area I am planning to travel. Thank you I appreciate your prompt response.

Someone here must have an idea of how fast Indians can restore roads, etc. Vietnam is very fast at getting things back to normal after cyclones. You may have to play it by ear.

Thamkyou traveller6262. I am receiving feedback from some individuals living in the area, which is confirming all will most likely be passable by Sept, so it is hopeful.
A lot of damage has happened due to the flood in 2018 but we will be back to normal by mid of Sept. At least the tourist destinations will be well prepared and repaired to receive the guests.
