Good afternoon, I'd love to know when German citizens can obtain a visa on arrival to India.

When? Any guess is as good as the next. Done right, it would have been for this tourist season, but that didn't happen. And in any event, it will still not be as good as the 3-month visa that you'd be allowed if you apply in Nepal.

If I recall it was first announced 3 years ago under the previous regime. Time is relative in India..

Wasn't it just about a year ago that they announced the additions? With, of course, not enough time to implement them for last tourist season...
