We're in Northern India and need a new Indian visa. We don't want to go to Nepal again. Does anyone have information about the train (preferable) or bus to Lahore? Can we get a Pakistan transit visa at the border? What is the cost? Would the Plakistan visa give us enough time in Lahore to get an Indian visa? Thanks

Don't know if the train has been reestablished after the attack. Pakistani visas are obtained beforehand and 3 days may not be enough to get an Indian visa in Pakistan where it is said to be more tedious than most places to do so. I would suggest 5 minimum..
