Does anyone know if it is currently possible for a Swedish passport holder to get an Indian visa at the Nepalese border, going over land? I currently have a multi-entry 6 month visa but would like to extend my stay by a month. Would it be possible to go to the Nepalese border and just get a new Indian visa without actually entering Nepal, or would I need to go to Kathmandu / to a consulate?

Thank you

You need to apply for a new visa in KTM. Chances are you'll be given a three month single entry, so make the most of your 6 months visa before you go.

You need to complete the same online form (and print it out) that you did for your current visa.
