Perhaps one of the riskiest things is to allow yourself to be charmed by some fella you've just met. If you find someone a bit charming in such a situation, perhaps you should be doubly cautious. Don't get drunk with them. Don't go off alone with them. If you let a guy befriend you, you should probably accept up front, that it is a sexual relationship that is brewing and just pace it. If its not that, money will be the motive.

There was a story last year about a german girl who allowed herself to be charmed by some guy. For some reason they started a train trip together and at some point he tried to rape her. He obviously thought that that was where everything was leading and when she didn't take the next step, he did.

That's not to say that there aren't countless people who find themselves following that route and don't have any difficulties but that's because there is no conflict or contradiction between their actions and their intentions.
