Hi,

I am an Indian and am planning a nine day trip to Assam and around. I plan to start from Guwahati.. From there to Majuli Island.. Next to Dibrugrah and later to Sohra and from Sohra to Shillong and back to Guwahati. I had the following queries, help would be nice

  1. How easy and cost effective it is to hire a car for the nine day trip from Guwahati?
  2. Does the ferry to majuli accommodate cars and any stay suggestions for Majuli?
  3. Any stay suggestions for Sohra?
  4. Any must - see and must - do recommendations. (travelling with my mom who is fit but cannot trek)
