Beware that you pay at the airport much more for the rupies.

airport: 1 euro 50 rp.

beach: 56 rp.

that is generally the case in most places around the world..airport foreign exchange can have a bit of a commission...

The difference can't be so much.All registered money changers have to charge as per regulatory bank ( central bank) of India's nominated exchange rates and these rates are fixed at the beginning of every day.Can you please tell us where in Goa airport did you end up getting the exchange rate? Generally the difference is about 3 to 4% between official and underground rates but not 12%..Something seems to be wrong!!
