My sister is coming to meet me in Delhi for a week or so in late March. She's asked me what clothes she should bring. Now, I'm told it can get pretty cold in Delhi in the winter, but what's the weather like in March? Any recommendations?

Delhi's weather is pleasant in March. Warm clothes are not required. Temperature should not come below 20 during the day time.

By late March it is actually quite hot, although the nights are cooler than later in the summer. And no, it is not at all humid in Delhi at that time.

I am here now.

In the day time (up to around 10 am or so), you can wear long jeans with short sleaves and may be a light jacket. Though, I didn't wear a jacket. As right around 11, it gets hot. Jeans are still wearble but glad I was wearing short sleaves. At around 5pm that's when it gets cool again.

Everyone else wore sandles.... I wore sneakers as that's all I have and some places I went could get a bit dirty.

In late march it should get really hot is what I heard....

Hope this helps.
