I'm in Delhi next week,any suggestions on a affordable place to stay?
My first time there,3 weeks want to go to Mumbai what's the best way to get there.

Hi Anna,

A nice; affordable and safe establishment is Hotel Ajanta in Pahar Ganj. There's a web-link (do a google search).

Rooms are good and the place is quiet.

Best way to get to Mumbai would be by the train. Depending on your comfort requirements, you can either go for a SL (budget and usually interesting people to meet up with) or 3A (more expensive but more createure comforts provided).

Anna,

There are numerous trains that run from Delhi to Mumbai. Rajdhani is an overnight train and other trains take upto 24 hrs. Most of the trains are heavily booked, so you may have to plan ahead. Some of the trains I would recommend - Rajdhani, Frontier Mail, Punjab mail and Dehra Dun Exp.
