Hi,
Me and six of my friends (seven women altogether) are arriving in Delhi early in the morning. We are looking for cheap accommodation in or around Connaught Place(as we think this mite be an ideal location-open to other suggestions). We would pay anything up to (€50/2865INR). We would like AC, western bathrooms and also accommodation where the Hotel/Hostel would collect us from the airport. We are only planning to stay one night in new Delhi before travelling onto Agra and Jaipur and then returning to Delhi. We would like a bit of comfort for our first night in New Delhi. Can anyone please suggestion any suitable accommodation.

cannaught place is a good ideas, its centrallly located and ideal to explore outwards from. check some guidebooks on mid-range/top-range hotels in cannaught place...last time i was in cannaught was in 1999 and i forget where i stayed at..
happy travelling

There are also a few "guest houses" in Delhi. Whereever you go...check the actual room before u pay.

Consider the Madhuban Inn down in the south of Delhi at Greater Kailash II. GKII is a respectable part of town. Its got great shopping like Fab India and M block market just nearby. There is no shortage of historical stuff and a taxi for the day between four costs a pitance to see most of delhi's main sites. The fast trains to Agra leave from nearby Nizimadin Station. A blessing with an early start.
GK2 is respectable, yes (I live in nearby GK1), but not exactly a tourist hotspot. Nah, better stay at CP where you can also easily jump on the new metro. Best advice is just to pick a hotel from a guide book and call them up. And if you don't like the place on arrival, you can always walk off and find something else. Quite a few midrange places in CP.
