I'm looking for one night and one day of complete peace, quiet in a dark room in Delhi. Reasonably close to the airport would be preferred, but a good sleep is what I'm looking for. Is there a hotel with clean sheets for under $100US that meets that description?

I've stayed in Pahar Ganj many times. Not this time. Circumstances are different. Need to crash and recover quickly on entry to India this time.

lots of good things were said about Master Paying Guest House,but I didn't stay there myself.

Hi

I have just returned from Delhi and stayed at Sunset Heritage Hotel in Karol Bagh area. It was not too far from the airport and I paid 2200 rupees taxes incl.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. Their website is hotel website.

Try Hotel Shanti Palace which is approximately 10 minutes Delhi's international airport, close to the Radisson.

Thanks everybody for the tips. I will pursue them and try to book by email.

BTW I have a 2003 LP that recommended the Centaur Hotel near the airport. That was my plan. However, after I asked for a reservation I decided to check out what others were saying. I read at least 10 reviews on various websites that said it was a great location, but a horrible place to stay. They said it was complete ripoff.

They still haven't replied to my email reservation either.
