Recently I am receiving some questions in my e-mail regarding using internet in mobile/Laptop. As far as I check, Grameen Phone pre-paid offer is the best for t. They offer 1 GB internet use per month only for Taka. 345 (USD 5). The process is as under :

Buy a Grameen SIM card from any outlet (You will find thousands of shops selling Gramen SIM cards) It will cost Taka. 150 (USD 2.2), also a photograph & passport photocopy reuireded.
Insert the SIM card in your handset. Buy some credit (Say Taka. 500) from the same shop.
Dial 12125 to talk to Grameen customer service department. You may have to wait some time (2-10 minutes). Inform them your handset name & model and request them to enable P-6 package for you. Within half an hour, you will get a confirmation message.

Now, you can browse easily.

Hiyas, I used this service for the month I travelled through Bangladesh & was delighted with the level of coverage & service (excellent English spoken) provided by Grameen. I think the P6 package (one of many options) was a phone & internet package. Would recommend this service to anyone wanting to buy & use a local SIM card in Bangladesh.

I use this package & from my personal experience for browsing & surfing internet this is the best Service in Bangladesh..so when travelers coming to Bangladesh we are assuring u guys that u can easily use internet without going to cyber cafe..:D
