is it still possible to get an indian tourist visa from bangladesh. I heard they changed the law in Dec and made it more difficult to get a visa from a country other than your own. has anyone gotten an indian visa in the past month from bangladesh?

Yes, now it is very difficult to get indian visa in dhaka. Last week i met 4 aushtralian travellers who were refused to get visa. I sent them indian embassy in chittagong n they got the visa.
So, if anyone rejects from dhaka, can try in chittagong.

Yes, we also had this problem. One day told it would take 6 days minimum, then next day were told it was 100% impossible for us to get visas. No explanation, just some ridiculous comments etc.
Maybe if we had kept going back and begging we could have got it but we couldn't be bothered. Spent the extra time in BD instead.
