Now that the nighttime closures of Dhaka airport have been in effect for 13 days, does anyone know what effect it has had on landings and processing of passengers during the time the airport is open?

I was able to find older articles predicting delays (and increased traffic jams on the roads due to more daytime passengers), but I couldn't find any news reports describing actual conditions after Dec. 1.

As far as I know the airport will be fully closed from 11 p.m to 8 a.m. So, airlines companies revised their scheduled already. You can check with your airlines.

But I was not asking about revised schedules!

I was asking what effect it has had on the landing and processing of passengers---does it take longer? Is it a mess? Is traffic bad to/from the airport since 24 hours worth of passengers are arriving/departing within 15 hours?

IMHO you are stressing too much for transport out of the airport ! How long is longer ? Just for an idea you should count around 2 hours from airport to Motijeel. If you do it in less time then its good ! Traffic in Dhaka is always bad, so whether it is worse you will not know as you never been there before and even locals complain about traffic ! So stop worrying too much and am sure that as soon as you land you will get transportation, whether CNG or taxi !

In the worse case, walk ! :)

The fact is that Dhaka is not SO BUSY airport. So, if airlines revise their schedule there would be no problem for this.
