Hi, I'm shooting in Bangladesh in early Feb and am looking for ideas for locations. We'll have a day for a recce but it would be great to get a head start by knowing where to look. We're shooting models and want some photogenic locations to place them. Any suggestions??
Also are there any festivals/events we should know about?

If you want to take some nice photographs, i will recommend to visia the following places :
- Dhaka-Khulna rocket steamer trip.
- Sundarbans.
- Chittagong hilltract (rangamati n bandarbans)
- Rajshahi.
- Srimongol.
- Ship making yard, keraniginj,dhaka.
Festival: 21 st february,intl mother language day observed with festival mood. u can think to stay that period.

Also includes St.Martin coral island for as photogenic location; Kotka sea beach, Sundarbans.

For me (and in no specific order):
1) Rangamati (and lake Kaptai)
2) Sunderbans (have a look at bengal tours company)
3) Dhaka city
4) Chittagong - but only for the ship breaking yards (there's also no guarantees that you'll be able to get in with a camera).

Thanks very much all. A lot of suggestions I'll research. We won't have long, I imagine we'll be mostly in Dhaka. Other than the Rocket steamer and the City, are there any other Dhaka locations that I should consider? Thanks again.
