As far as I know there are no group tours in Almaty, you have to find other people yourself and share the costs.

Does anyone know if a vehicle permit is required? And, if so, where I might obtain the relevant permit (an embassy in particular, or simply on the border).

We will need to catch a flight from Urgench to Tashkent next month however can't decide if we should stay an extra day to opt for A320 instead:
Wednesday: departs from Urgench at 21:40 and arrives in Tashkent at 23:45, I14.
Thursday: departs from Urgench at 21:50 and arrives in Tashkent at 23:20, A320.
I just wanted to check if anyone has flown on one of these recently and if so what the experience might have been like (for instance in turbulence)?

Looking to go from Song-kul to Kyzyl-Oi and then Suusamyr. Few questions.
Is there any reason to start a horse trek to Song-Kul in kochkar rather than Kyzart? I've read from kochkar they just shuttle you to Kyzart to start anyway. Plus I plan to head west after Song-Kul so no need to go back to Kochkar anyway.
I will be travelling solo so looking to avoid private taxis where possible unless I can split costs with others. It appears public transport goes west as far as Chaek…
