I would like to book a last minute ticket in november 2014.
To Uzbekistan, Can I get a Visa on arrival at the airport without a LOI ?
And are there countrys where you can go with visa on arrival without LOI and to much trobble.
Turkmenistan , Uzbekistan , Tajikistan,kyrgyzstan , kazakstan
PLEASE give up-to date info....so no later then summer 2014 information

For Uzbekistan visa at Tashkent Airport, you will need Letter of Invitation (LOI). But this is really specific - Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan approves LOI for Tashkent Airport:
- if there is no Uzbekistan Embassy or Consulate in the country from where tourist is flying to Uzbekistan.
- if in the country, where Uzbekistan Embassy or Consulate exists, but connecting flight doesn’t allow enough time to obtain a visa.
For this, local travel agency needs to have a copy of flight ticket in addition to other documents for visa support.
I work in a travel agency, so deal with LOIs every day, including visa-on-arrival.
