Dear friends, I am applying for a visa to travel in Uzbekistan as a tourist in September. Reading the information available on the Uzbek embassy in London website, I understand that, being a Spanish passport holder, I no longer need a LOI to get my visa. However, while filling up the application form, I bumped into a mandatory field called 'inviting party'. I don't have an inviting party, I am an independent traveler! What do I do? Will I need to look for a letter of invitation anyway? Shall I say in the application that I am my own inviting party? Thanks in advance for your help!

It's easy. Just put in "N/A" meaning "Not Applicable".
The standard visa form is trying to cover a wide range of different visa applications from different nationalities, and the authorities understand that not all questions apply to everyone.

Yes, I did exactly this, with an "N/A" for the Inviting Organization information on an Uzbek visa application and it worked fine. Like you I'm an EU national who doesn't require an invitation.
I've also become accustomed to doing the same thing in other places on various ex-soviet republic visa applications!

I did it! Just made a "-" and it worked very fill. Processing time was 2 days at the embassy in Vienna. Done in March 2012.
