A lot has been written about regular Tourist Visa application for Uzbekistan, but does anybody know anything about applying for an e-visa? Process, time, etc. The Uzbek website does not explain anything...

The evisa website (http://evisa.mfa.uz/evisa_en/) is not a genuine application portal. It's just a tool for completing and printing the application form. You still have to submit the form at a consulate somewhere. See this instruction on the page:

  • Print the form after it is returned to you and displayed in Adobe Acrobat and submit it to the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
