Hi All,

My name is Barbara, I am a 30 y/o Italian girl and I am planning a trip to Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan for beginning of April next year. I will spend around 6 days in each country, please let me know if you are planning the same trip as I would like to find some travel mates and share the costs of travels.

If interested, please drop an e-mail to <snip>

Cheers!
Barbara

Hi Barbara, I am planning a trip with a friend beginning April 2015 for like 18 days UZBEKISTAN only, since Turkmenistan visa are tough to get. Where do you want to travel to share the cost?

Barby
I would suggest 6 days is way too short for Uzbekistan.

Hi there, not sure yet where I will in Uzbekistan, do you have an itinerary already? When will you get into Tashkent?

I think we will fly in April 3 and stay until April 20. Turkmenistan visa is difficult.

We have an itinerary: spend the weekend in Tashkent, try to fly to Khiva on Monday. We stay in Khiva for a few days. Khiva is a good place to lay low for a while. We shall not be in a rush. From Khiva we will do Bukhara, Samarkand and try to go south to Termez and mountains around

Hi Tomas, You say that Turkmenistan visa is difficult, it is right in a way but it depends on the country. Where are you from? Because Turkmenistan Visa is not probblem for some countries, especially in Europe.
Regards,
Bunyad.

Tomas as I live in Uzbekistan all my life I know it better than any one else. If you like I would suggest you to visit Villages as well around Samarkand such as Sentob or Tersak on the mountains. You will have the chance to talk to locals there who are very hospitable. And I would also suggest stay for a night or two in Uzbek Yurtas in Nur Ota region where you will have the chance of dancing around the fire , sing songs and etc. As well there you also can enjoy fishing, camel riding.
