we, a joung lady and a guy are looking for someone to join us on a trip tu uzbekistan. We want to visit Samarkant, Buhara & Khiva. We want to go at the end of June and travel for about 10 days. We will enter and leave Uzbekistan from the Kyrgiz border in Osch. We know uzbek and have some connections for nice/cheap hotels (not even LP knows that stuff ;)

Helo to the two of you, i have recently arrived from Khiva to Bukhara and would like to warn you of the terrible road conditions between the two cities.
take aanything BUT the road! im 24 years old healthy and strong but even i found the road to be hell.
Took a bus (overcrowded) for 30 000som and it took 11 hours with a stopover for sleep to arrive.
going at 1 mile an hour i wonder how we made it at all...
khiva is worth a trip to UZB and even better if u can get to koni Urgench(spelling>?)
There is a hill with corpses stiking out of it, if was made from the city population by the khan who put everyone to the sword, cool stuff, etc...
when in bukhara and you want to go to the ARK(fortress)to get a panorama view, go after 7pm and 'Talk' to certain people there, money talks best.
