Tashkent ATMs and cash in Uzbekistan

There is an ATM in the Dedeman Hotel in Tashkent (opposite to City Palace on the LP map). It accepts Visa and gives money in Som. But max amount is 40000. I didn't try to get US$ from it though.
In my experience many hotels and guesthouses also change money at black market rates. It seems harder to get good rates for Euros. Therefore I changed US$ only.

Kapital Bank will give cash advances on Visa cards, Asaka Bank will usually give cash for Mastercard, however the main branch on Nukus in Tashkent has no cash facility. Hotel Uzbekistan in Tashkent has both Visa and Mastercard ATMs but they frequently run out.
