Hello,

Two friends and I are planning a trip to Uzbekistan in October and we'll be making our way to Nukus, from where we'd like to go to Munyak and then further up to the Sea. However, I hear mixed things that October is not a good time to see the sea, that it'd rain a lot, and would be very muddy. Does anyone has any experience or knowledge about this?

Thanks a lot for the help.

Murat

Hello,

Thank you very much for the reply. Yes, I was also told that the best time is the summer to see South Aral Sea. However, do you have any knowledge of what the weather will be like in October, and if it's worth the try to do a trip out there during this time?

Thanks,
Murat

I would not worry so much about mud, and learn everything about anthrax, and other bio-baddies. The UN tried to clean up the south island in the late 1990's but???
Do a simple google search and READ!
