Hello all,

I would like to make sure if it's possible to exchange euros in Bukhara and any other place you may know of...Khiva, Samarkand and Shahrisabz are the main places I will visit.

I would like to avoid exchanging euros to dollars at home before whenever possible.

Yes, you can change EUROs without any problems. Cant remember the rate for it.

Great anaya, thank you...is there exchange black market in Uzbekistan or just official exchange rate everywhere?

There is a black market at the rate is much better than the official rate. Last year the official rate for UAD was about 1800 Sum and the black market was from 2200 to 2700 depending on place and bargaining skills. So only change the absolute minimum at official rate. I dont know the official rate and black market rate for EURO but there is also a big difference.

Hi,
change euros at the black market is very easy in Uzbekistan. Some days ago, in Chorsu bazar (Tashkent), I change 1euro = 3350 sum.
