Does anyone know if you better rate of exchange for a higher denomination note, say USD50 rather than USD20, on the black market?

Or is the rate the same for all notes, regardless of value?

no difference among 100, 50 and 20 actually... but for 1 USD you will get less local money, of course. and banknotes must be clean, not damaged and not old.. for example, issued in 1999 will 'cost' less, moneychangers can even refuse to accept them, it depends..

Yeah, I've changed $20's $50's and $100's all at the same rate of 3,000 Cym/$.

I've never had a money changer refuse my notes. I usually try to pawn the crappy notes off on them.
