Either doesn't exist at the address indicated in the LP, or has moved. There is a cafe there instead, which serves great plov. Hardly a 'centre' though. One bowl of plov, bread, and tea for 4400 sum, which is a little on the pricier side (had some elsewhere, almost as good, for 2900). Note also the street names in the LP are incorrect/ out of date. They should read (excuse my latinisation of the cyrillic) corner of Kichik Khalka+ (the main street) and +Bodomzor+ (the cross street). They're not open for dinner -- plov is only at lunch (on weekdays at least, perhaps they do dinner plov on weekends?). Failing that, walk south on +Bodomzor+ for a very short distance and you'll find restaurant +Tong which is a little on the pricier side but the food is excellent - e.g. beef (lyulya) kebabs in a tomato/onion sauce, very tasty, about 3000 sum.

It hasn't been there for ages. And i'm not entirely sure whether they moved or closed all together. No locals had any idea what i was talking about when i was there a couple years ago.

It moved. It's now about 500m north of the TV tower in the Yunusobod area. Not quite what it was before (less selection) but still a pretty fine experience.

Thanks -- good to know, since the taxi drivers didn't. Will check it out in a couple of weeks.
