Can local family (friends) provide Letter of Invitation (LOI) visa support for Uzbek Tourist Visa?

Hi all,

Is it possible to use LOI from an Uzbek local family for Uzbek Tourist Visa? Or travel agency is the only way?

Hi there,
They can provide you with LOI and you'll get visitors visa but not touristic one.
It's better if you refer to local travel company for LOI, as if local family invites you it takes up to 3 month and if travel company, it takes 7 days.

Hello,
Sometimes invitation by locals takes up to 6 months - I invited my friend once.. Please have in mind that with tourist visa you must stay at the hotels only - no private apartments! You need a registration which will be provided by the hotel free for you. If tourist loses registration card or ignore hotels stay rule, he/she will face problems departing country.
